The Irish Concrete Society aims to promote knowledge and awareness of concrete to students of Engineering/Architecture and Materials.
Become a student member of the ICS to be kept up to date with the Society’s activities. Membership is FREE to students of Engineering/Architecture and Materials in Ireland. Apply for student membership by contacting us quoting your name, course, year of expected graduation and 3rd level institution.
We give students preferential rates to many of our courses and seminars.
The ICS run two schemes specifically for students at Irish Universities:
Sean de Courcy Student Award - Irish universities are asked to enter one final year project which addresses a concrete related topic. The award is presented each year at the Irish Concrete Society Awards evening. If interested, please contact your lecturer.
Student Travel Bursary is typically aimed at assisting postgraduate researchers who wish to travel to an international conference to present their research. Follow the link for more detailed information and an application form.
